(In 2017, the trade deficit of parts and materials to Japan was $16 billion, accounting for 56.5%  of the total. Therefore, development of parts and materials that can dominate the global market as well as surpass Japan and development of new products that adopt them is absolutely urgent

Project Overview

Develop an electric vehicle with more than three times higher efficiency than the existing product by applying the world’s first developed continuously gear-meshed transmission.  Variable

Continuously Gear-meshed Variable Transmission : The world’s first state-of-the-art transmission that reduces electric consumption by 1/3 by applying it to a moving vehicle equipped with an electric motor, in one layered gear-shifting  transmission, different from the multi-layer structure of the existing transmission.

Proof of the practicality of CGVT would enable its application to  hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, ships, submarines, tanks and etc., and due to its cutting edge, it is possible to dominate the global market.

(It also possesses the potential as another new growth engine on a national scale following semiconductors and mobile phones.)
